What is Day Trading?

Day trading is when you buy or sell something in the same day.

Traditional Day Trading (Within hours)

Scalping (within minutes or few seconds-more advanced)

High-Frequency Trading (HFT) (Much faster than scalping)

Main place to trade is a chart. A chart includes X-axis (Time) and Y-axis (Price). In trade, we buy Low and sell High.

And you also can make money when the price goes down.

We need also know how to read the price after understanding the concept of High/Low and Buy/Sell. To do so, we need to read candlesticks. Candlestick charts are made up of millions of candlesticks to show us the movement of the market over time. In addition, candlesticks can help us to predict where the market price will go.

We have two different type of candlesticksGreen Candlesticks-Bullish, Red Candlesticks-Bearish

Green candle means the price is going up during this time period (length of the candle)and the red candle is opposite.

Each candle can represent one time frame such as one hour or one day depends on the time frame the trader has chosen.
